My dad uses bold text and emoticons a lot in his emails to me. Is this normal?

Usually because they’re about college or my view on life and how I’m overwhelmed by this stuff.

Anyways. 

I love him to death and I’m moving in with him in a month so that I’ll be able to be more organized with college applications because he’ll help me in any way he can while mom will just look on in distain asking why I’m so stressed and that it isn’t supposed to be stressful.

Dad and I are going to make a power team with big calendars, white boards, to-do lists, and afternoons in front of the computer registering, filling out applications, applying to scholarships, etc.

I need him in this because frankly mom can’t really help me.
